About Othman Louanjli

Othman Louanjli has worked in the financial services industry for much of his professional career. He started in Cross Asset Sales at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for seven years (2006-2013). At the time, he was based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), from where he helped the company bring in more clients for its products and services.

In 2013, Mr. Louanjli found a position as a private banker with Julius Baer, a top private banking group that has its headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. The firm has a presence in many financial centres of the world, including London and Hong Kong. Julius Baer - named after its founder - started operations in 1890 and for more than a century has become known for building trust and integrity with clients.

Julius Baer got its start by taking advantage of Zurich's importance as an international trade centre in the 1890s. It initially provided bureau de change services, but slowly expanded to include wealth management, forex trading and securities in its portfolio of services. In the aftermath of World War II, global economic growth helped steer the company to new heights by placing it among the top private banks.

Mr. Louanjli maintains various interests outside of work that keep him engaged and happy. He is an avid fan of football and tennis, sports that he plays regularly. He supports one of the most recognised teams in the French football league, Paris Saint-Germain, and Roger Federer is the tennis professional he likes to follow. Cooking, surfing and acting are additional interests he engages in.
